Though I was born in a small hospital in Manila, my folks were actually settlers in Cubao, where I spent most of my formative years. We actually moved around Cubao and Proj. 4 before finally nesting in one of the hills of Angono, just at the outskirts of Antipolo. Spent 16 years with the Jesuits in Katipunan. Got a Major in Communication Arts and in my spare time, I was able to finish a Minor in Hispanic Studies. I learned the piano when I was five and continued to press keys till high school. I learned to draw before I learned how to write, but I ended up writing my way out of troubles over drawing solutions. In 2004, I set off my creative career as a copywriter for a French advertising agency, leaving it as an associate creative director seven and a half years later. Now I am heading the creative department of a PR firm. I still live in Cubao and despite my particular knack for things brooding and sad, I am actually having a blast.
